No. You can be seen by our Clinical Psychologists without a referral, but you will need a referral from your GP (called a GP Mental Health Care Plan) if you wish to claim a rebate back from Medicare. Medicare do not allow sessions to be back-dated, so you will need to have a referral in place prior to attending a session if you wish to claim a rebate for that session.
